Revolutionary Consciousness is
the basis of Revolutionary Action!

“Without revolutionary consciousness there is no Revolution. All those who have conducted revolution agree on this. But where does this revolutionary consciousness come from, since it is certain that it is not basic datum, nor does come into being and develop spontaneously? History teaches us it is created and developed through ideological education and revolutionary practice.” —Sékou Touré

The All-African People's Revolutionary Party is arming the people with revolutionary ideology and organization. Our ideology, Nkrumahism-Tureism, is a product of Africa's and the world's struggle for progress and development and against all forms of imperialism and human exploitation. It reflects the most positive aspects of African traditional values, humanism, collectivism and egalitarianism and incorporates the positive aspects of other historical experiences (Euro-Christian and Arab-Islamic influences) with these core ethics.

From slavery to capitalism there is no value or ethical change. The worker goes from the plantation to the plant, which now his old master owns. In Africa Neo-Colonialism changes the face of the Governor, from European to African, but DeBeers still owns the diamonds and Shell still owns the oil. Revolution is the complete shift in the ethics and values of a society, this does not happen by chance. Revolution is a direct result of change in the consciousness of the people, the direct result of them gaining revolutionary understanding. The revolutionary consciousness is gained by work and study, accelerated through revolutionary theory (Ideology) and revolutionary action (Organization).

Nkrumahism-Tureism is named for two of the foremost theorists and practitioners of the African and worldwide revolution, Kwame Nkrumah and Sékou Touré. Their work and lives reflect the necessary directions and objectives of this generation of the African and world revolution. Once the African masses are armed with revolutionary ideology that comes from our culture, "Neo-Colonialism: The Final Stage of Imperialism" described by Nkrumah in a book by the same name, will be defeated.
